How WebRes works

WebRes is a web site with its own site construction and content management system. It is capable of handling very large numbers of simultaneous page visits from the general public and travel agents alike, and is designed to deliver web pages and images extremely quickly. The e-commerce engine can process as many simultaneous bookings as you can ever hope to need.

The WebRes sites are hosted on Roeville's own fast web servers, sitting right on the internet backbone - for ultra fast performance and maximum up-time. WebRes links directly into your own T2 reservation system for split second availability when making bookings. Ticketing is fully automatic, following the same successful model as used by the low cost airlines. Brochure enquiries are also channelled straight into T2.

Web users and agents access WebRes over the internet using any web browser – typically Microsoft's Internet Explorer. As they browse the site, their page requests are handled swiftly and accurately by the WebRes program. Text from your Web database and graphics from your own private graphic library are cleverly woven by the program into "active" web pages.
