It certainly does! Ask yourself why you bought or upgraded to broadband instead of keeping your dial-up modem. It’s all about speed. Hosting the site on your own server is only ok if you have a small amount of images and only want one person at a time to be able to browse and book on your site. Your broadband speed isn’t what you might think – when you buy for example an 8mb broadband line it generally has less than a tenth of the upload speed. Our WebRes sites are stored on servers that all have the same Download and Upload speeds. These are generally more than 20x faster than Home\Business ADSL broadband packages. Websites hosted on a customers own broadband gives their customers a site that takes time to load, and with large images these can sometimes time-out. Internet users aren't always aware of these facts and until you look into them it can seem so simple.

Can I host the site with a different hosting company?

No. Sites are hosted on our own servers so we can guarantee security, speed and reliability. As it is hosted on one of our own servers this means we are also able to ensure that your site is regularly backed up and kept up-to-date with the latest available updates. Also included in the price of the monthly rental is a Microsoft SQL Processor License.

What is a Microsoft SQL Processor License?

Microsoft states that you require this license if “the processor is located in the server running the SQL Server software. This licensing model is most appropriate for applications that are accessible through the Internet.”

“Processor license. Optimized for customers building business-to-business (B2B), business-to-consumer (B2C), and business-to-employee Web-based applications. A single license is required for each CPU in the operating system instance running SQL Server. This license does not require any device or user client access licenses (CALs).”

Do we still need to process payments through our PDQ machine?

Web bookings automatically go through a card processing system to ensure all bookings are valid. You can also use this system in T2 and Ph2 at no additional cost if you require.

What if I don’t want people to select their own seats?

You can select per tour if you want people to have the option to select their own seats.

Why do your Prices seem more expensive than other competitors?
